Waste management software development

Waste disposal is regulated, heavy on documents and invisible to the client: what was collected, where it went, whether the papers are in order. Waste management software development turns that into a service a business can follow — every order with its status and every document in one place.

We built this for ECO.NOVA, a licensed hazardous waste operator in Ukraine: a public site that explains each waste category in plain language, and a B2B system behind it where a business orders a pickup, follows it and gets every document, while managers run orders, contracts and files in their own cabinet.

The same model fits other B2B services with paperwork behind every job. We build it at a fixed price under a contract, with payment by stage.

Problems

What makes a regulated B2B service hard to run

  • Clients cannot see what happens

After the pickup the client has no view of where the waste went or whether the papers are ready — so they call, and managers answer instead of working.

  • Documents scattered across email

Contracts, acts and certificates sent by email get lost, and finding the right one when an inspector asks turns into a search.

  • A complex service explained badly

Waste codes and hazard classes mean little to most buyers. A site that only lists them sends people to the phone instead of to a request.

  • Sensitive files, loose access

Contracts and disposal records belong to one client. Shared links and shared logins put them in front of the wrong person.

What we build

What we build for waste operators

  • B2B client cabinet

A business orders a pickup, follows its status and downloads every document in one place.

  • Orders and document flow

Each order carries its contract, documents and files, and its status shows where the job stands.

  • Manager CRM

Managers run orders, contracts and files in their own cabinet; administrators control access and audit.

  • Service and category pages

Pages per waste category with codes, hazard class and prices, written plainly and leading straight to a request.

  • Cost calculator

A disposal cost calculator, so a buyer gets an idea of the price before the first call.

  • Security and audit

Strict sessions, owner checks on every file and contract, safe uploads and a log of every sensitive action.

Case

How we built it for ECO.NOVA

Hazardous waste disposal as a transparent B2B service

ECO.NOVA is a licensed hazardous waste operator: classification, collection, transport, disposal and the paperwork that proves it. The business needed a site that explains a complex service simply, and a system that gives every client their own trail of orders and documents.

Pages per waste category lead straight to a request. Behind them, every order carries its documents and status; private files open only for their owner and manager, every sensitive action is logged, and the platform went through a full security pass before launch.

Three formats

Choose how we build it

The format decides who writes the code and how much engineering review goes into it — and with that, the price and the pace.

  • AI / build

    AI Build

Fastest path · prototypes & internal tools

AI generates the structure and most of the implementation. Engineers review integrations and the release. The lowest cost, for prototypes, internal tools and MVPs that test an idea.

  • AI / eng

    AI + DEV

    Recommended for most MVPs

AI builds the scaffolding and the obvious parts. Engineers own the architecture, critical logic, integrations and full QA. Balanced pace and review, for customer-facing MVPs and B2B products.

  • full / engOur pick here

    DEV

    Maximum quality & control

Senior developers own architecture and implementation end to end. AI is an internal tool for speed, never the final author. For production systems and regulated domains.

Regulated documents and clients’ files make this a DEV job by default: senior engineers own access rules, the document flow and the security pass. A B2B service without regulated paperwork fits AI + DEV.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

How much does waste management software cost?

It depends on the roles, the order flow, the documents, the public pages and the integrations, so we price it by module. The estimate gives a first price in about 15 seconds; after the team review the price is fixed in the contract.

Do you build the public site too?

Yes. For ECO.NOVA we built both: the public site with SEO and pages per waste category that lead to a request, and the B2B system where clients and managers work with orders and documents.

Can clients get their documents without asking a manager?

Yes. Each order carries its documents, and the client downloads them from their cabinet. A private file opens only for its owner and their manager.

Will it follow our licence and reporting rules?

The system follows your process: your waste codes, your documents, your statuses. The rules themselves come from your licence and your lawyers; we build the records and reports they require.

Is it secure enough for client contracts?

Access to every file and contract is checked against its owner on the server, sessions are strict, uploads are validated and sensitive actions are logged. ECO.NOVA went through a full security pass before launch, and we recommend the same for any system like it.

Can we start with the client cabinet and add the rest later?

Yes. We deliver module by module, and each one is reviewed and accepted on its own, so your team and clients can start using the first modules while the rest is still in work.
