Agro e-commerce website development

Agronomists and farmers buy inputs by crop, problem and rate, not by product name. Agro e-commerce website development starts there: a catalogue filtered by crop and stock, the rate and packaging on every card, and a person to talk to when the choice is hard.

We built exactly this for TAMIS AGRO, a supplier of biological crop protection to Ukrainian farms: an online store where an agronomist finds a product by category, crop or stock, compares chemical and biological protection costs year by year, and orders from a profile with saved addresses and history.

We build at a fixed price under a contract, module by module, and the money for each stage stays in the project reserve until you accept the work.

Problems

What gets in the way of selling farm inputs online

  • A catalogue sorted by product, not by crop

Buyers think in crops and problems. A store that only lists brands and product names sends them to the phone to ask what fits their field.

  • Rates and packaging buried in PDFs

An agronomist needs the application rate and the pack size before the price means anything. When those hide in a brochure, the order goes to whoever answers the call first.

  • New products that need explaining

Biologicals and micronutrients replace something the farm already uses. Without a comparison in money, the switch looks like a risk rather than a saving.

  • Big buyers still want a person

Farms ask before they order. A store that hides the phone behind a contact page loses them; one that offers a callback on every page keeps the conversation going.

What we build

What we build for agribusiness

  • Catalogue by crop and stock

Filters by category, crop and stock, with the rate, packaging and price on every product card.

  • Crop pages

Each crop matched with the products proven for it, so a search for a crop lands on a page that can sell.

  • Cost calculators

Chemical and biological protection compared year by year — or any other choice your buyers weigh — turned into a number.

  • Customer profiles

Saved addresses, order history and repeat orders; B2B prices for signed-in companies where you need them.

  • Callbacks and consultations

A callback or a free consultation request one click away on every page, landing with your sales team.

  • Admin, payments, integrations

Products, prices, stock and orders in one admin; card payments through WayForPay or Stripe and invoices for companies; sync with your accounting where it has an API.

How we built it for TAMIS AGRO

An online store for biological crop protection

TAMIS AGRO supplies farms with bio-insecticides, inoculants, micronutrients and organic fertilisers. For many farms biologicals are a new idea, so the store had to sell like a catalogue and advise like an agronomist.

We built the catalogue around the way an agronomist searches, crop pages that match each culture with proven products, a calculator that compares chemical and biological protection costs, and a callback or consultation on every page.

Three formats

Choose how we build it

The format decides who writes the code and how much engineering review goes into it — and with that, the price and the pace.

  • AI / build

    AI Build

Fastest path · prototypes & internal tools

AI generates the structure and most of the implementation. Engineers review integrations and the release. The lowest cost, for prototypes, internal tools and MVPs that test an idea.

  • AI / engOur pick here

    AI + DEV

    Recommended for most MVPs

AI builds the scaffolding and the obvious parts. Engineers own the architecture, critical logic, integrations and full QA. Balanced pace and review, for customer-facing MVPs and B2B products.

  • full / eng

    DEV

    Maximum quality & control

Senior developers own architecture and implementation end to end. AI is an internal tool for speed, never the final author. For production systems and regulated domains.

An agro store with a standard catalogue and checkout fits AI + DEV: AI builds the familiar screens, engineers own the product data, payments, integrations and SEO. A large catalogue with complex B2B pricing and warehouse sync deserves DEV.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

How much does an agro online store cost?

It depends on the catalogue, the filters, the calculators, the checkout and the integrations, so we price it by module. The estimate gives a first price in about 15 seconds; after the team review the price is fixed in the contract.

Can buyers search by crop and problem?

Yes, that is the core of it. Products are tagged by category, crop and stock, and crop pages collect the products that fit each culture. The structure follows the way your agronomists already advise customers.

Can you sell to farms on B2B terms?

Yes. Signed-in companies can see their own prices, order history and repeat orders, and pay by invoice as well as by card.

Will the store rank in search?

It is built for it: pages rendered on the server, clean URLs, structured data for products, and crop and product pages that answer what agronomists actually search for.

Can it sync with our accounting or warehouse?

Yes, if your system has an API or an export we can read. Prices, stock and orders then sync on their own, so nobody retypes them.

Who runs the store after launch?

Your team, from the admin we build with it. Defects in our code reported within 30 days of acceptance are fixed free of charge; new features start with a new estimate.
