Software development cost calculator

Describe what you want to build — in your own words, with a link or a file — and the software development cost calculator splits it into modules with hours, a timeline and a price in about 15 seconds.

It is the estimator our team prices projects with. The estimate is free and non-binding; after a review with our team, the price goes into the contract and does not grow with the hours.

The result

What the calculator shows

The result opens on its own page right away — no sign-up needed to see it.

  • Modules with hours

Your brief split into the parts we would build — screens, backend, admin, integrations — each with its own hours.

  • A timeline and a price

For the build format you picked. Switch the format and run it again to compare.

  • How sure it is

A confidence level that is higher when the brief is specific: roles, key steps, platforms, integrations.

  • What it was built from

Your text, the file and the link — and whether each one could be read.

  • A suggested stack

The technologies we would use for this scope, explained at the team review.

  • The next step

Create an account and send the project to our team: we review it and confirm the scope and the price with you. Nothing is charged before that.

Three formats

Choose how we build it

The format decides who writes the code and how much engineering review goes into it — and with that, the price and the pace.

  • AI / build

    AI Build

Fastest path · prototypes & internal tools

AI generates the structure and most of the implementation. Engineers review integrations and the release. The lowest cost, for prototypes, internal tools and MVPs that test an idea.

  • AI / engOur pick here

    AI + DEV

    Recommended for most MVPs

AI builds the scaffolding and the obvious parts. Engineers own the architecture, critical logic, integrations and full QA. Balanced pace and review, for customer-facing MVPs and B2B products.

  • full / eng

    DEV

    Maximum quality & control

Senior developers own architecture and implementation end to end. AI is an internal tool for speed, never the final author. For production systems and regulated domains.

How it works

From a brief to an accepted product

The same five steps for every project, whatever we build. You always know what is agreed, what is paid and what is done.

  1. Estimate

Describe the product in your own words, add a link or a file. In about 15 seconds you see the modules, the hours, the timeline and a price.

  2. Team review

Our team reads the brief and the estimate, asks about anything unclear in your cabinet or on a call, and confirms the scope and the price. Nothing starts before that.

  3. Contract

You sign a contract online: a fixed price, the scope split into modules, and a payment schedule — in full or by stages.

  4. Milestones

We build module by module. QA checks each one before it reaches you, and the cabinet shows the work as it moves.

  5. Acceptance

You have 7 days to review each module: accept it or send it back with a list of fixes. Your money stays in the project reserve until you accept.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

How accurate is the calculator?

As accurate as the brief. The estimator splits the description into modules and prices each one, so a brief that names the roles, the key steps, the platforms and the integrations gives a tighter number than a single line. The result shows a confidence level, and our team reviews every estimate with you before the contract.

Is the calculator’s price final?

It is a first estimate, free and non-binding. After the team review, the agreed scope and price go into the contract and stay fixed: they do not grow with the hours we spend. Anything new goes through a change request you approve before work on it starts.

What should I write in the brief?

Who uses the product, what they do in it step by step, which platforms you need (web, iOS, Android), what it must connect to — payments, accounting, a partner’s API — and what already exists. A link to a similar product or a PDF with your notes helps too. No technical specification is needed.

Why does the build format change the price?

The format decides who writes the code and how much engineering review goes into it. AI Build is the fastest, lowest-cost path; AI + DEV balances pace and review; in DEV senior engineers own everything end to end. In our estimates the format moves the price more than any single feature.

Do I need an account to see the price?

No. The price, the timeline and the modules open right away. You create an account only when you want to send the project to our team for review.
